Scope 3.3 emissions for green electricity contracts

When selecting Emission Factors from AIB or IEA, I’ve noticed that green energy contracts typically show zero emissions associated with both generation and transmission & distribution.

My question is:
Shouldn’t there still be some emissions allocated to the generation of green electricity—for example, emissions from the construction, installation, or maintenance of renewable energy assets?

Or are these types of upstream emissions considered out of scope for FERA emissions reporting?

That is out of scope. Category 3.3 is only for generation, transmission and distribution emissions related to energy and fuel consumption. And for renewable energy that is considered zero
