This page contains an overview of 10 new features on Carbon+Alt+Delete’s roadmap (in a random order). To help us prioritize, please like the top 3 features that are most important for you. Please do not reply to these options.
#1 AI empowered emission factor search
This feature allows the user to leverage ChatGPT to search for the right emission factor in the various emission factor databases. As a result, the user can search in different languages and will find the emission factor that most closely matches the search term (without the need for exact matching).
#2 Emission (factor) calculation warning
This feature provides the user with additional information and warnings on a specific inventory line. For instance, the user will be informed on why an emission factor is not found (e.g., emission factor is no longer available for the selected time period).
#3 Climate risk assessment
This feature allows the user to classify (risk matrix) and quantify (high-level) the physical climate risks (e.g. flooding) and transition climate risk (e.g. carbon cost) for your assets and revenues. This feature will create an ESRS compliant output for your CSRD reporting.
#4 AI empowered document screening
This feature allows users to leverage AI to read documents and automatically collect activity data from those documents. For instance, electricity consumption can be read from electricity invoices.
#5 Carbon footprint benchmarking
This feature provides a benchmarking of similar organizations (i.e., similar sector and region), based on their full carbon footprint. As such, companies can be classified in percentiles relative to their peers.
#6 Land sector and removal guidance (LSRG)
This feature updates the emission factors, inventory and reporting to the (upcoming) guidance of the GHG Protocol on Land Sector and Removal Guidance (LSRG). Allowing to account for carbon removals/sinks is a key aspect of this feature.
#7 Activity data collection surveys
This feature enables the user to compose custom and web-based surveys to collect activity data from a broad group of data providers. For instance, compose and share a survey to collect commuting data from employees.
#8 Product carbon footprint
This feature enables the calculation of product carbon footprints, based on your corporate carbon footprint.
#9 Tag other users in notes fields
This feature allows the users to tag other users in the notes field of an inventory line. As such, users can leave comments or questions for their colleagues or clients.
#10 Extend the factor library with an agricultural dataset. This will allow for using agricultural emission factors from a dedicated dataset in the factor library.
