Emission factors for machinery equipment (mixers, blenders, agitators,...)

Hi everyone!

I’m currently working on calculating emissions for a food production company that uses various types of machinery in its operations. These include equipment like freight elevators, homogenizers, mixers, blenders, agitators, and more.

The challenge I’m facing is finding specific emission factors for this type of machinery. I’ve searched through standard databases, but I haven’t been able to locate anything tailored to these kinds of equipment.

I’m considering using Financial-Based Conversion Factors from ExioBase as a fallback, but I realize this approach is less precise and doesn’t directly account for the equipment’s specific energy or material usage.

Has anyone in this community come across a similar situation? Do you have suggestions for sources or methodologies to find or estimate emission factors for industrial machinery, especially in food production facilities?

Thanks in advance for your help
